Involvement of CSTO Forces Not Considered: Peskov
The option of involving CSTO forces in Ukraine's special operation is not considered, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, as reported by RIA Novosti.
"No, that option is not being considered," Peskov stated in response to journalists' inquiries regarding whether the Kremlin is contemplating the involvement of CSTO forces in Ukraine's special operation.
Peskov emphasized the importance of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). "The CSTO has demonstrated its effectiveness, operational capacity, and usefulness in the not-so-distant past. The development of the CSTO is one of our priorities in foreign policy," highlighted the Kremlin representative.
