Taxi Falls into Canal in Yerevan, Citizens Rescue Driver

On June 15, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 22:15, the 9-11 Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call that a Nissan Tiida had veered off the road and was hanging in a canal near the summer houses of Nor Kharberd, next to a church.

According to shamshyan.com, before the rescuers arrived, citizens managed to pull the driver, a 32-year-old named Poghos P., out of the vehicle. Subsequently, the rescuers and patrol officers from the second platoon of the Yerevan police arrived and, with the help of citizens, safely lifted the car out of the canal using a crane.

Fortunately, according to preliminary information, there were no injuries.
