24-Year-Old Stabbed in Yerevan
On June 12, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 18:00, the Astghik Medical Center reported to the Shengavit police department that an ambulance had transferred a citizen diagnosed with a "stab wound to the left subclavian area."
According to shamshyan.com, the Shengavit police's operational group, led by Deputy Chief Movsesyan and Investigator Aghasyan, arrived at the hospital.
The doctors informed the police that the victim was unable to provide an explanation about the incident. While the doctors were fighting for the victim's life, police learned that the injured individual was a 24-year-old resident of Yerevan identified as S. H.
Officers from the Shengavit police's criminal investigation department quickly determined that on the same day, around 17:30, a conflict had occurred between the victim and a 42-year-old resident of Ararat region, M. M., during which M. M. stabbed S. H.
Based on operational data, police established the suspect's location and apprehended him while he was driving a Nissan vehicle, bringing him to the Shengavit police department, where he was arrested.
Investigations are ongoing, and the investigator has ordered a forensic examination, while the vehicle has been taken to a designated secure area of the Shengavit police department.
