Scottish Fans Donate Money to Autism Center for Children in Armenia
Before the Scotland-Armenia football match, the "Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal" fan movement of the Scotland national football team made a charitable visit to the "Arvestaran" Creative Development Center in Yerevan.
The purpose of the visit was to provide financial support for programs aimed at children and young people with autism and other developmental features, funded by the fans' charitable foundation.
"Our 91st charitable visit took place in Yerevan at the autism center. We received a very warm welcome from the center's staff and children. They greeted us with their national dances," the fans' statement said.
This fan movement has been making charitable donations to children for over twenty years in countries where their national football team plays matches. As a result, approximately 4,000 British pounds have been transferred to the center.
