Opposition Protesters Stage Sit-in at the Prosecutor General's Office

The participants of the "Resistance" movement, who were holding a protest rally in Vardanants Park, marched towards the Prosecutor General's Office and then blocked the street by sitting down on it.

Aram Vardevanyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, stated in his speech: "A government that has been formed through acts of disobedience, which at one point claimed that a police officer's testimony could not serve as the basis for detention, is now holding people in custody based on that very reasoning. This is yet another lie, and these lies will be exposed. Without Nikol, there will be a future for Armenia. With our action, we are the first to express our attitude towards those police officers who are detaining people based on their testimonies, whether being coerced or voluntarily. One such example is Igor Khachaturov's case. He was arrested based on a police officer's testimony."

Currently, the opposition protesters are near the Prosecutor General's Office.
