Major and Tragic Car Accident Occurs, 1 Dead, 1 Injured

Today, June 14, a major and tragic car accident occurred in Vayots Dzor Province. At around 14:50, vehicles belonging to Nissan and Kamaz collided on the 142 km section of the Yerevan-Yeraskh-Meghri highway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, one person died on the spot, and another was transported in extremely serious condition to Vayk Medical Center. The police and investigative department are determining the identities of the drivers, the deceased, and the injured.
