According to the factual data obtained during the investigation, on June 18, 2022, at approximately 10:30 PM, a 32-year-old resident of Yerevan, while driving with his brother in Aparan, honked at a vehicle of the brand “Infiniti,” overtook it, and subsequently stopped it. This conversation escalated into a dispute, which continued at the beginning of Aparan. In order to pursue the conversation further, on June 19, the next day, the 32-year-old man, along with his brother and several others, went to the area of a gas station in Aparan, where they confronted one of the individuals who had intervened the previous day and assaulted him.
The conversation regarding the same issue resumed around 7:30 PM near a landfill in the village of Nigavan, during which the 32-year-old man fired shots from a firearm towards the individuals with whom they had been arguing. As a result, two 27-year-old residents of Aparan, who were transported to the medical center with gunshot wounds, died in the hospital, while five others were taken to medical facilities.
