Emergency Incident in Yerevan: Mercedes C250 Crashes into Flower Shop on Chayush Square, Injuries Reported
Today, on June 14, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 20:20, a Mercedes C250 vehicle crashed into a flower shop in the well-known "15-quartal" Chayush Square under unclear circumstances.
According to Shamshyan.com, witnesses at the scene reported that the Mercedes hit three pedestrians, who were first assisted by bystanders. Subsequently, emergency medical teams arrived promptly, provided first aid at the scene, and transported the injured to the "Armenia" Medical Center.
Authorities are preparing materials regarding the accident. Those present at the scene claimed that the driver fled the site; however, patrol officers led by Commander A. Gasparyan and the criminal investigation department of the Mashtots Police Department, headed by G. Poghosyan, established that the vehicle was driven by 24-year-old Hrach Ghazaryan, a resident of Yerevan, who is currently under police supervision and did not flee the scene.
The patrol service is identifying the injured individuals, two of whom are reportedly employees of the flower shop.
