Ukrainian Saboteurs Attempt to Blow Up Druzhba Oil Pipeline in Bryansk Region: Baza
Sabotage has occurred on the “Druzhba” oil pipeline in Russia’s Bryansk region. RTVI reports this, citing the Baza Telegram channel.
It is noted that unidentified individuals placed three homemade explosive devices on the structures of the highway. Three explosions occurred in the village of Gulevka, located 40 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. At the same time, a signal was received indicating that communication with the pipeline's valve had been interrupted.
The Druzhba oil pipeline itself was not damaged; however, due to the sabotage, the transformer substation and the valve control block were disconnected. Nevertheless, the channel reports that there was no fuel leak.
It is worth recalling that the “Druzhba” is one of the world's largest oil pipeline networks. It was constructed in the 1960s to supply fuel to Eastern European countries, including Czechoslovakia, Poland, and East Germany.
