Azerbaijani Man Assaulted in London for Displaying 'Grey Wolves' Sign
An altercation occurred in London between supporters of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and an Azerbaijani man. The incident took place during a demonstration organized by PKK supporters near the headquarters of a British news agency, as reported by Nation.com.pk.
Participants in the gathering protested against potential military actions by Turkish armed forces in northern Syria. The confrontation escalated after the Azerbaijani man flashed the 'Grey Wolves' sign at the demonstrators. A brawl erupted between the marchers and the Azerbaijani afterward.
'I am from Azerbaijan, I work here. I saw that there was an anti-Turkish rally taking place. I simply could not resist showing them the 'Grey Wolves' sign. After all, I am also Turkish and could not hold back. They showed the 'Victoria' sign, and I responded with the 'Grey Wolves' sign. Men and women both attacked me. The police pulled me from the crowd and took me to a nearby market,' recounted the Azerbaijani man.
