NSS Agents Detain Garnik Melkumyan: NAUM

Less than an hour ago, NSS agents detained Garnik Melkumyan, a member of the Youth Organization of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) "Nikola Aghbalyan." The information was reported by the NAUM.

“Garnik Melkumyan volunteered to go to war on September 27, the start of the 44-day war for Artsakh. This is yet another evident political persecution by the authorities who are handing over our homeland piece by piece to the enemy,” the union’s statement said.

NAUM calls on law enforcement to refrain from exerting pressure aimed at silencing the voices of citizens’ protests. It is worth noting that today, the director of "Yerkir Media" television, Bagrat Yesayan, was also detained. NSS agents entered his office and took him into custody.
