Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has once again issued a statement alleging that the Armenian side has violated the ceasefire regime. The statement claims that units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire on Azerbaijani combat positions located in the eastern and northeastern sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the evening and night of May 31.

This information does not correspond to reality. The situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is under the full control of the Armenian Armed Forces.
