Ukraine Seeks to Purchase Israel's Iron Dome Missile Defense System, Reports The Jerusalem Post

Ukraine's ambassador to Israel, Yevgeny Korniychuk, has announced that the country is looking to acquire the Iron Dome missile defense system from Israel. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post.

“We need Israel's assistance. I mean our need for military-technical support. We require the Iron Dome, which will save our women and children from Russian missile attacks,” the Israeli publication quoted Korniychuk as saying.

The diplomat clarified that Ukraine intends to purchase missile defense systems. Earlier, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland commented on the potential deployment of the Iron Dome in Ukraine during a speech in Congress, stating that one cannot simply wish for the system to appear.
