Stabbing in a Restaurant

On June 4, at 04:20 AM, the police department in Masis received a report from a hospital that a 35-year-old man had been admitted with a penetrating abdominal injury and was unable to provide a statement or explanation, according to medical personnel. This was reported by the police.

Criminal investigators from the Masis police department, through operational-intelligence measures, determined that around 01:00 AM a fight had broken out in one of the restaurants in Masis city, during which a 41-year-old resident of Yerevan had struck the victim with a cutting and piercing object. Thanks to explanatory work, the suspect presented himself at the Masis police department, bringing the weapon used in the crime.

The 41-year-old man has been handed over to the preliminary investigation body. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (Causing serious harm to health intentionally).
