Decision Made to Remove Tents from France Square Due to Volodin and Lavrov's Visits, Says Khamoyan
Member of Parliament from the "Armenia" faction Agnessa Khamoyan writes: "Nikol, who has been forced to adjust his movements to the opposition's agenda, seeing that no rally or march is planned, has put on his 'brave' hat and, accompanied by around 200 security personnel and under heightened security measures, has stepped out among the people. This is the same Nikol who characterized the activities of the 'Resistance' movement merely as 'logistical challenges,' yet when thousands gathered outside the government building, he didn’t come out to provide answers. He also applied special measures against his own people in front of his private residence, not to mention that on June 3, he was afraid to send his own faction to the parliament's extraordinary session.
Now, officials reaching Saryan Street through this humanitarian corridor have already fallen into the wine-infused euphoria of 2018. They will sober up in the morning and return to reality, but in the meantime, according to my information, Nikol has decided to remove the tents from France Square using police forces in connection with the visits of Volodin and Lavrov. Nikol, understand, whether there are tents in France Square or not, the political crisis in the country is deepening and will continue to deepen; the solution will be your resignation.”
On June 10, a regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be held in Yerevan.
