Macron: We have talked for at least a hundred hours about conversations with Putin

The total duration of phone conversations between the presidents of France and Russia has reached 100 hours over the past six months. French President Emmanuel Macron made this statement during an interview with regional media on Friday.

“We have talked for at least a hundred hours,” Macron said, as reported by TASS.

“The situation in Ukraine is indeed complex, and that is why I have dedicated so much time and energy to it,” he added. According to him, “it is already difficult to count how many conversations have taken place with Russian President Vladimir Putin since December.”

“We have talked for at least a hundred hours,” the president emphasized. He also noted that he has not concealed these negotiations at the request of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
