It Is Known How Many Years in Prison Medvedchuk Is Facing
Ukrainian opposition politician Viktor Medvedchuk, accused of state treason, faces up to 15 years in prison, according to the State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine. Previously, the agency announced that the investigation into Medvedchuk's case for state treason has been completed and sent to court.
"The accused faces up to fifteen years in prison, with or without the confiscation of property," the statement from the State Bureau of Investigations on Telegram said.
Recall that in April, Ukraine's security service announced the arrest of Medvedchuk, the head of the political council of the opposition platform for life party, on the order of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
