Armenians Residing in Artsakh are Azerbaijani Citizens and Can Utilize Azerbaijani Gas, Says Sultanov
The Deputy Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Elnur Sultanov, stated during a conference held as part of Baku's Energy Week that Azerbaijan can provide energy to Armenians living in Artsakh.
He noted that if such a decision is made, Azerbaijan could implement it within a few hours. "Armenians residing in Artsakh are Azerbaijani citizens and can take advantage of Azerbaijani gas, which would cost them less than it does now. The main objective is to turn Artsakh and the areas liberated from occupation into a green zone. This also means that all electricity produced here will be sourced from alternative energy supplies. It is planned to use gas in those areas," Sultanov said.
