The Situation is Very Difficult, We Are Losing 60-100 Soldiers Daily: Zelensky

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing daily losses of 60-100 soldiers and around 500 injuries. This was announced by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, as reported by Lenta.ru.

“The situation is very difficult; we are losing 60-100 soldiers daily, who are killed, and about 500 people are injured in battles. Thus, we are maintaining our defensive lines,” Zelensky commented on the situation in Donbas.

Earlier, the British newspaper The Guardian noted that the Ukrainian army has suffered significant losses in Donbas. According to the authors of the article, the tactics employed by the Russian military, which have determined the course of battle, have posed a “cruel dilemma” for Ukrainians: to hold their positions against rapidly increasing losses or to retreat.
