Car Accident in Yerevan: Collision between Mazda and Opel Leaves Three Injured, Two of Whom are Minor Brothers
The Investigation Department for Road Traffic Incidents of the Patrol Service of Armenia is preparing materials regarding the car accident that occurred on May 24 in Yerevan, as reported by senior investigator Gegham Sargsyan.
On that day, around 16:00, at the intersection of Rostovyan and Muratsan streets, a collision occurred between a Mazda vehicle driven by 39-year-old Martin M. and an Opel vehicle driven by 63-year-old Mikael H., both residents of Yerevan.
According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, a 10-year-old passenger of the Mazda, Albert M., was transported to the Muratsan Medical Center with bodily injuries, from which he was later transferred to the St. Astvatsatsin Medical Center. Another passenger, 6-year-old Hakob M., was also taken to St. Astvatsatsin Medical Center.
The 41-year-old passenger of the Opel, Vahagn S., was transported to the Erebuni Medical Center. The patrol officers of the Yerevan patrol service of the Police of Armenia arrived promptly at the scene.
According to G. Shamshyan's information, the injured minors are the children of the Mazda driver.
