Biden to Supply Ukraine with HIMARS Multiple Launch Rocket Systems

U.S. President Joe Biden has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, which includes HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems. This was reported by the White House, according to RT.

Biden stated that the provision of HIMARS systems is part of the military assistance to Ukraine. “Today I am announcing a significant new package of security assistance to provide timely and necessary support to Ukrainian forces,” Biden's statement said.

He detailed that the aid package will include HIMARS systems and ammunition. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated that Kyiv's demands to the West for the supply of multiple launch rocket systems are direct provocations aimed at dragging other countries into the situation in Ukraine.
