“I will not say, because that would mean setting some line before negotiations...” stated Alen Simonyan during a press briefing with journalists at the National Assembly.

In response to the remark that his evasive answer raises doubts that Artsakh will be part of Azerbaijan, the Speaker of the National Assembly replied: “I am the head of the legislative body, I am not a negotiator, I am not the Minister of Foreign Affairs, I am not the head of the Government. I know that, regardless of what happens, by saying anything now, I could predetermine or influence and limit the negotiation opportunities of the Armenian side.”
