Video: Footage of Eduard Martirosov's Return from Azerbaijan

Conscription soldier Eduard Martirosov has returned from Azerbaijan to Yerevan, with exclusive footage from Sputnik Armenia.

The peacekeepers brought the Armenian soldier from Stepanakert to Yerevan's Erebuni Airport. He was accompanied by the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, Major General Andrei Volkov.

“As a result of the work of both Azerbaijan's and Armenia's special services, today the soldier has been returned. This process continues so that all captured soldiers may, in one way or another, return home to their parents,” he said.

Eduard Martirosov accidentally crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on April 23 while moving from his unit to a position.
