Pashinyan to Visit Parliament Today: 'Hraparak'
According to the newspaper 'Hraparak', discussions on the preliminary report regarding the execution of the Republic of Armenia's 2021 state budget will commence today in the permanent committees and their joint meetings of the National Assembly. High-ranking officials from the executive branch, including the Minister of Finance, the Chairman of the Central Bank, and the head of the Audit Chamber, will visit the parliament today.
The law also requires the presence of the Prime Minister. Members of the ruling faction assured yesterday that Pashinyan would be present for the discussions on the execution. Will the opposition movement allow Pashinyan to enter and exit parliament freely this time, or is there a possibility of blocking the parliament building? Until yesterday evening, the initiators of the movement did not have an answer to this question, as the issue of surrounding the parliament building had not yet been decided.
