State officials of Armenia are currently in Sardarapat. A delegation led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is paying tribute to the heroes of the Battle of Sardarapat.

Armenia is marking the 104th anniversary of the establishment of the First Republic and the historical victory in the Battle of Sardarapat on Republic Day. On May 28, 1918, victories in battles fought in Qarakilisa, Bash-Aparan, and Sardarapat restored the independence of the Armenian people, which had been lost almost 9 centuries ago.
