“You’re Still Running Away”: Taron Chakhoyan Responds to Saghatelyan
The Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, Taron Chakhoyan, has responded to the statement made by Ishkhan Saghatelyan. He wrote: “Evidently, there are obvious memory disturbances with Ishkhan Saghatelyan. Just a short while ago from France Square, he declared, ‘Let them come, it’s boys... next week we invite the government to the parliament for an extraordinary session.’ The internet meme of Ishkhan Saghatelyan, who is championing running away from the police, has likely made him forget the May 4th session of the National Assembly, when his faction and opposition colleagues fled the session hall. The government will still go to the parliament today, but you have been running away since May 4.”
It is worth noting that today, Saghatelyan, addressing the question of why the opposition does not attend the parliament or participate in the Q&A session with the government, said, “We will return to the parliament on our agenda, and next week we will demand an extraordinary session. I will speak in detail about this tonight. Now I declare: they are boys, let them come. I invite the government to the parliament, but on our agenda, not on their fake and fabricated agenda.”
