Drivers in New Yerevan Buses are Systematically Pocketing Money: Hakob Karapetyan

Hakob Karapetyan, the former spokesperson of the mayor and editor-in-chief of the "Fact-Checking Platform," made the following statement:

“Yesterday, Levon Zakaryan reported a factual crime during a Yerevan city council meeting, indicating that drivers in the new Yerevan buses are systematically pocketing money. I believe many Yerevan residents will confirm this. From my own experience, I can assert that about half of the passenger traffic is shadowy, and due to a lack of proper oversight or perhaps an organized scheme, the city is losing tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions, each month. I hope the Prosecutor's Office will treat Mr. Zakaryan's statement as a report and take appropriate action.”
