Tragic Incident in Yerevan: Man Falls onto Iron Reinforcements from Elite Building
On May 24, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 18:20, the duty medical team of Yerevan's emergency services alerted the Arabkir police department that they had responded to a call at 136/11 Verin Antarrayin, where a man's body was discovered in a newly constructed elite building.
According to Shamshyan.com, the deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Andranik Keshishyan, a resident of the Armavir region. Sources indicate that he worked at the construction site and fell from the second floor onto iron reinforcements below.
His colleagues managed to retrieve him from the site and called for emergency assistance. Arriving medical personnel confirmed his death.
A sign near the entrance of the construction site stated: “Yerevan, Central Administrative District, Verin Antarrayin 136/11, construction of an underground and above-ground residential complex.” The client is registered as “ELIZ” LLC in Yerevan, while the contract is held by “Bidek” LLC. The design oversight is conducted by “VA-MAYND” LLC, and technical supervision is carried out by “Arthur Abelyan Ashot” individual entrepreneur. Construction commenced on October 29, 2021, with an expected completion date of April 29, 2020. An investigation is underway in the Arabkir Investigation Department.
