Tragic Incident: Man Killed After Soil Collapses on Him During Work in Goris

At approximately 18:15, the Goris police department received a call from the Goris medical center indicating that a citizen had been admitted with a diagnosis of "polytrauma." This was reported by SHamshyan.com.

It was determined that the injured individual was 46-year-old Garik Arakelyan, a resident of the Syunik region, who unfortunately passed away shortly after being admitted to the hospital without regaining consciousness.

Goris police have established that earlier that same day, around 16:00, G. Arakelyan was working on excavation for a water line in the administrative area of Vagatur village, specifically in a location known as "Bayanduri Hand." During the excavation, the soil collapsed and covered him, resulting in serious bodily injuries. He was transported to the Goris medical center, where he succumbed to his injuries at 19:00 without regaining consciousness.
