Russia Seeks to Replace Exiting Brands with Turkish Alternatives
Russia and Turkey are entering a new phase of negotiations regarding the replacement of brands leaving the Russian Federation. This was announced by Dmitry Moskalenko, the president of the Council of Trade Centers of Russia, as reported by Hürriyet.
“We are entering a new phase of negotiations to replace brands leaving Russia with Turkish brands. We foresee that this autumn, there will be 3 million square meters vacant in the retail sector in the Russian Federation, which is equivalent to 420 football fields. We are giving Turkish brands that are not yet represented in Russia the opportunity to connect with the best shopping centers, starting from Moscow. We are negotiating for Turkish companies to stay in Russia for a long time and make profitable investments,” said Moskalenko.
