Body of Missing Citizen Found in Lake Sevan

This morning, divers discovered the body of A. S. (born 1968) on the shores of Lake Sevan near the village of Tsovinart. The information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

The search operations in Lake Sevan are ongoing.

It is reminded that on May 6, at 18:16, the regional crisis management center of Gegharkunik received a report that two citizens had gone out on a boat from the coastal area of the villages of Vardenik and Zolakar and had not returned.

A total of 7 watercrafts and two drones are involved in the search efforts. Ground and water reconnaissance operations are being conducted with the assistance of flying and floating devices.
