A 63-year-old citizen of Armenia has gone missing on the road leading from Kachaghakaberd to the Khachen River in Artsakh. This information has been reported by the press service of the Artsakh Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It was noted that at 01:06 AM, a call was received at the 911 crisis management center of the State Emergency Service, stating that a person was missing in the territory of the Kolatak community in the Martakert region, and rescuers were needed.

“During the operational measures carried out, it was established that the missing individual, S.M., a 63-year-old Armenian citizen, was one of the members of the expedition, who, while descending from Kachaghakaberd to the Khachen River, informed the group that he was moving ahead and would wait for them near the bridge. Upon reaching the bridge, the group could not locate S.M. in the designated area,” the statement said.

Following the emergency call, a fire-rescue unit from the Ajrapat firefighting service was dispatched to the Kolatak community to conduct search and rescue operations. It has been reported that a fire-rescue unit from the Martakert region's emergency department joined the search efforts today. The missing citizen has not yet been found.
