One of Four Injured in Ararat Region UAZ Roll Over Dies in Hospital
On May 21, 43-year-old Garegin Yeprumyan from the Ararat region passed away in the hospital. According to shamshyan.com, he was hospitalized on May 8 after being involved in a car accident on the "Aghqilisah" mountain section in the village of Lanjanist, resulting in Garegin and three others being transported to the hospital with varying degrees of bodily injuries.
Earlier reports indicated that a serious car accident occurred in the Ararat region on May 8. At around 3:30 PM, 46-year-old Yeghishe Karapetyan, driving his UAZ vehicle, lost control under unclear circumstances in the administrative territory of Lanjanist village, veering off the road and rolling approximately 600 meters before landing in a gorge.
A photojournalist reported that due to the accident, driver Yeghishe Karapetyan and passengers, all residents of the Ararat region, 35-year-old Yura Sogomonian, 35-year-old Grisha Manukyan, and 43-year-old Garegin Yeprumyan were transferred to the Vedi medical center, where they received necessary treatment before being moved to the Erebuni medical center.
