The U.S. Welcomes Dialogue Between Armenia and Azerbaijan

The United States is ready to continue supporting Armenia and Azerbaijan in the process of normalizing relations, including in its capacity as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group. According to Armenpress, U.S. State Department spokesperson Ned Price made this statement during a press briefing with reporters.

“The United States welcomes the dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In this context, we remain committed to promoting a peaceful, democratic, and prosperous future for the South Caucasus region. We strongly urge that this dialogue continues and that the parties intensify their diplomatic engagement, utilizing existing mechanisms for direct interaction, striving to find comprehensive solutions to all important issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict or arising from it, as well as to normalize their relations through the signing of a comprehensive peace agreement. We are prepared to support this process. We remain ready to assist Armenia and Azerbaijan in these efforts, including in our capacity as co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group,” Price stated.
