Washington's Intentions Are Not New: Peskov

The intention of Washington to supply Kyiv with Harpoon anti-ship missiles is not new in itself, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, on Friday. The Russian Armed Forces are closely monitoring the supply of weapons and taking appropriate measures, Tass reports.

“You know that a lot of weapons are coming to Ukraine from the West, you are well aware of our attitude towards this, so there is nothing novel here,” Peskov stated.

He added that Russian military personnel are “very carefully monitoring all these supplies and working preventively in this area.”
