The Findings of the 44-Day Inquiry Commission Will Be Made Available to the Public in Maximum Volume: Kocharyan

The Chairman of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Defense and Security, Andranik Kocharyan, addressed articles published today on several news websites regarding the activities of the inquiry commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war, on his Facebook page.

In response, Kocharyan stated, "The inquiry commission does not intend to align its normal operational processes with the logic of certain newspapers' fabrications." He added, "It is evident that the 'information sources' of such media outlets have not only long ceased to provide credible information to the editorial staff but also have completely dried up on the streets of the capital. Regarding the independent advisors to the Commission, each of them, including Samvel Babayan, continues to provide support to the Commission's work in various formats.

Instead of eagerly awaiting the undeniable failure of the inquiry commission, I advise the editors of meddling news sites to focus on the fact that the opposition directly refused to participate in this crucial work aimed at the restoration of our state and army after the war. The evaluators of the final findings of the inquiry commission that studies the circumstances of the 44-day war will definitely not be from fake-reporting newspapers or their editorial teams. The final conclusion of the commission will be made available to the public in the maximum volume, and at that time, the extensive work carried out in these months will be visible," the MP wrote.
