Chain Reaction Car Accident Near Hayrenik Cinema: One Person Dead

A road traffic accident has occurred near the Hayrenik cinema in Yerevan. The information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations press service.

According to the announcement, at 14:25, the Crisis Management National Center received a call reporting an accident near the Hayrenik cinema, with one citizen trapped.

Rescue teams from the Fire and Rescue Department of the Yerevan City Rescue Directorate and the special rescue operations center of the Rescue Forces Administration were dispatched to the scene.

According to Shamshyan.com, a chain reaction accident occurred on Garegin Nzhdeh Street, involving six vehicles.

Rescuers managed to pull the driver from one of the vehicles, while the paramedics declared him dead at the scene.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The police and investigative department are working to determine the identity of the deceased and the drivers involved.

Preliminary information suggests that the deceased may have suffered a sudden death while driving, which led to the accident.
