Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has issued a statement addressing the recent claims made by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.

Azerbaijan's defense agency has again spread misinformation, alleging that on May 19, Armenian Armed Forces units fired at Azerbaijani positions along the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border using various calibers of firearms. However, the situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remains relatively stable and is under the full control of the Armenian Armed Forces.
