Investigator Demands Arrest of Mikitar Galeyan's Uncle

Yerevan’s general jurisdiction court is examining today, May 19, a request from the investigator to arrest Arthur Galeyan, the uncle of Mikitar Galeyan, who was killed in the 44-day war.

Arthur Galeyan has been charged with entering a military unit without permission and using offensive language. The defense attorneys have submitted a request regarding the clarification of the charges.

It is noteworthy that days ago, a group of individuals unlawfully entered the territory of military unit N, disregarding the legitimate demand of the colonel to leave the area. They insulted, pulled, and used violence against him, hitting him in the face with a plastic bottle.

According to the Investigative Committee, the identities of three individuals who committed the violence and inflicted serious injuries have been established, namely Garik and Arthur Galeyan, as well as citizen Azgush Martirosyan.
