Russia's Foreign Ministry Clarifies the Key Issue in Armenian-Azerbaijani Relations
Moscow considers the issue of unblocking all transport and economic links in the South Caucasus as one of the key issues in the context of resolving Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and organizing cooperation in the region. This was stated today by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a press briefing.
“We highly appreciate the work of the trilateral working group on the unblocking issue. The co-chairs of that group are in regular contact to develop solutions that satisfy all parties,” Zakharova said.
She reminded that last week, Russian co-chair and Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk visited Yerevan and discussed communication issues in the region with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
