Father of Aram Torosyan Killed Near Shushi Detained, Says Harutyunyan
Police have detained Taron Torosyan, the father of Aram Torosyan, who was killed in the 44-day war, from one of the streets in Yerevan. This was reported by Hovhannes Harutyunyan, the leader of the civil initiative "Voice of the Youth," on his Facebook page, along with a photo.
He specifically stated: "This is Taron Torosyan, the father of Aram Torosyan. Aram was killed on November 7, near Shushi, while defending his homeland until the end. A short while ago, Taron and I were detained together; they are taking us to the station. And do you know what Taron is saying to the police? NOTHING—he is sitting silently, and from his silence, the police understand what all of us are saying along with Taron. This struggle is unstoppable."
It should be noted that the "Resistance" movement has resumed acts of civil disobedience early this morning, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. They have blocked streets in various parts of Yerevan, including the road from Mashtots Avenue to the airport. Police are trying to restore traffic. Many have been detained.
