All Vehicles Are Being Checked in Artsakh

In Artsakh, the road police are operating under heightened conditions. This information was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh.

It is noted that due to the recent increase in crimes and violations involving the use of firearms, special measures are being organized and implemented throughout Artsakh based on instructions given during a security council meeting by the President of Artsakh.

"All vehicles are being stopped on interstate and inter-community road sections, and documents related to the right to participate in road traffic and the transported cargo are being checked. Vehicles are being inspected in the presence of drivers and citizens," the statement said.

It was also mentioned that the transported cargo will be checked for any objects, materials, and items removed from civilian circulation, as well as property obtained through illegal means, and tools of crime, in cases where there are reports or reasonable suspicions.
