"The Music Was Too Loud, I Didn't Hear the Officer's Request": Tense Situation Between Officer and Protester
A confrontation occurred during one of the car rallies of the "Resistance" movement in Yerevan. Police stopped the vehicle of one of the participants, prompting other drivers in the rally to exit their cars as well. This was reported by News.am.
The police stated that they stopped the car for not complying with their legal demands, but the driver insisted that he could not hear their request due to the loud music.
When the driver inquired whether a violation had been recorded, the officers responded that it had not. "The music was too loud, I didn't hear the officer's request. Can you prove whether I obeyed the police's legal demand or not?" the driver said.
It should be noted that today, on May 16, the "Resistance" movement is conducting car rallies in five directions in Yerevan.
