Two Residents of Artsakh Assaulted Police Officer

Two residents of Artsakh have assaulted a police officer. This information has been reported by the investigative department of the Artsakh Investigative Committee in Stepanakert, noting that the case has been accepted for proceedings.

The case has been initiated under Article 337, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Artsakh. It has been reported that the proceedings were initiated on April 16, 2022, around 23:00, following an incident involving residents A.G. and A.Q. from the village of Karahunj in the Martuni region, who used violence against police officer S.A., a representative of the state carrying out official duties.

The Artsakh Investigative Committee has stated that the preliminary investigation is ongoing.
