Meeting of Foreign Ministers of CIS Member States Kicks Off in Dushanbe

The meeting of foreign ministers from CIS member states has commenced in Dushanbe, the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan. This information has been reported by Sputnik Tajikistan.

Mikhail Yevdokimov, the director of the first department of the CIS countries, had previously noted that the agenda for the spring session would be extensive.

During the meeting, the ministers will exchange views on regional and international issues and matters pertaining to cooperation within the CIS framework. Particular attention will be paid to topics related to international security and the strengthening of ties in cultural, humanitarian, and scientific fields.

The autumn meeting of the foreign ministers of the member states is scheduled for October 13 in Nur-Sultan.
