Woman and Man Stab Each Other in Yerevan Hotel

On May 10, at 18:50, a citizen called the police to report that an unknown individual had stabbed his girlfriend at an address on David Anhaghti Street. Minutes later, two different hospitals reported that a 40-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman had been taken in for treatment for stab wounds. This information was released by the Armenian police.

Officers from the Kanaker-Zeytun police department established that at around 18:30, during a dispute at the hotel on David Anhaghti Street, the 49-year-old woman had stabbed the 40-year-old man with a knife. He then seized the knife from her and stabbed her in the abdomen, causing injuries. The weapon used in the crime was discovered and confiscated. Expert examinations have been scheduled. An investigation is underway.
