Shooting Reported in Akhalkalaki, Injured Individual

Last night, shooting was reported in Akhalkalaki. According to Jnews, Ministry of Internal Affairs officials have cordoned off the area around the Freedom-Rustaveli intersection. Eyewitnesses claim that three shots were fired.

It has since been revealed that two men were engaged in a discussion over some issue, which was followed by the gunfire.

A 34-year-old man sustained injuries and has undergone surgery. A criminal case has been initiated, and one person has been arrested.
