Emergency Incident: Gunfire in Yerevan Leaves Injured

On May 13, gunfire reminiscent of an action movie erupted in Yerevan. Around 00:50, the police department in Nor Nork received a call from an emergency medical technician who reported that they had responded to a call on A. Hovhannisyan Street, where they found blood-like traces near house number 25.

According to shamshyan.com, police discovered a Porsche Cayenne at the scene, which had 11 bullet impacts on the front and 7 on the rear. Additionally, 2 bullets, 1 unfired cartridge, and approximately 20 rounds of 7.65 mm caliber ammunition were found.

Photoreporters also noted blood-like traces and a weapon at the scene. It was revealed that two residents from A. Hovhannisyan Street were transferred to number 1 university hospital: 64-year-old Vachagan H. was admitted with a diagnosis of 'right-sided hemopneumothorax,' while another individual, known as Sargsyan S., was taken to the same hospital for 'left vascular traumatic bleeding,' with full details being verified. 31-year-old Andranik B. was admitted with a diagnosis of 'polytrauma.'

Doctors at the hospital informed the police and investigators that the injured were unable to give explanations of the incident as they were in the operating room.

According to Vardan Tadevosyan, spokesperson for the Armenian Investigative Committee, a criminal case has been initiated in the investigative department of the Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts under Articles 34-104, 112, and 235 of the Criminal Code.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, police have identified certain circumstances in hot pursuit and there are suspected individuals being sought.

Photorereporters indicated that the first to assist the injured were employees of 'Sigaroon' company, who also transported two of the injured to the hospital.
