Search Operations for Two Missing Citizens Resume in Sevan

Today, in order to resume search operations in Lake Sevan, a team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the scene. This includes a firefighting and rescue squad, an operational group, and a tactical rescue team.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of 07:50, search operations have resumed, with a total of 9 watercraft involved.

It is important to recall that on May 6 at 18:16, the regional crisis management center received a call that two citizens had gone out on a boat from the coastal area of the villages of Vardenik and Zolakar, and had not returned. Previous search efforts had concluded without results.
