Earthquake Near the Georgia-Azerbaijan Border Felt in Armenia

On May 10, at 01:41 local time (21:41 GMT on May 9), the Seismological Network of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations registered an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 at geographic coordinates of 41.40° north latitude and 45.80° east longitude, situated 57 km southwest of the city of Lagodekhi, in the border zone between Georgia and Azerbaijan, at a depth of 10 km.

The intensity of the underground shock in the epicentral area was 5 on the scale.

The earthquake was felt in the towns of Noyemberyan and other villages in the Tavush region, including Koti and Barekamavan, with an intensity of 3.
